Showa OK! is an audioblog devoted to archiving rare and forgotten Japanese pop gems of the Shōwa period (1926-1989). Our goal is to introduce to the English-speaking listener iconoclastic popular music from Japan, focusing primarily on outstanding songs that tend to stray from the prevailing musical aesthetic of their time.
